The newest zeal of Kannada Cinema ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ has achieved another major milestone by grossing over 200 crores in a mere 17 days. Ashwin Kumar’s animated devotional epic ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ is the fourth Kannada film to join the 200 crore club with its only other contemporaries being KGF 1 & 2 and James. This was achieved with no consideration of profit from digital and satellite rights.
The makers released a statement celebrating the film’s reception in India and overseas. Although two big films-Two Coolie and War 2 are set to be released on 14th August 2025, trade analysts predict that Mahavatar Narashimha will be able to sustain box office profits.
Around the Film
The film was co-produced by Kleem Productions and Hombale Films and was released in Kannada and Telugu. Mahavatar Narsimha’s mythological concept coupled with the superb animation has made for this year’s one of the biggest commercial successes.
